The State Highway Department with Lordsburg will pave about a mile and a half of streets in Jones Addition. A hot mix mat will be laid on the deteriorated oil surface to restore the roadway in the south part of the city.

Amended estimates may be needed if income changed sharply in Q4 1971. some taxpayers may file Form 1040 E5 by January 17. Five Injured in West Hidalgo County Car Crash
Five people from Los Angeles were treated at Hidalgo General Hospital after a car left Interstate 10 near the Conoco station, struck a sign, and overturned into a drainage ditch. Driver Higinio Ruiz, 33, was cited for no license. injuries not serious. The occupants were Lilla, Josefina, Renee, and Carmen Ruiz, ages 40, 70, 9, and 10. Officer John Adams investigated.

Airport Reverts to City Jurisdiction in Lordsburg
