Utility Bills Rise With New Public Service Rates
February marks the first month of the Public Service Commission’s new rates adopted by Ordinance No. 297. Meters are read in the first week, analyzed in the second, and bills mailed after the 20th. A sample bill shows gas rising from 38.10 to 67.42 and water from 9.00 to 11.00, totaling 67.42 with the new rates.
