Three Lee brothers Clell Dale and Vincent from Paradise Valley hunted in Copperas Canyon twenty miles north of Silver City. They used four hounds Pilot Sounder Blue and Trailer to pursue three mountain lions and a cub on a government expedition. They killed two lions and a cub, captured the remaining cub alive, exhibited it in Lordsburg, then took it to the Lee ranch for transport to Albuquerque.
