Lordsburg Employees to Seek Certification in City Schools
Lordsburg city employees will enroll in various schools to gain certification at different levels. The Mayor and Council discussed the plan in Santa Fe. If wastewater staff are not certified by April 15, the city must hire a level four technician. A maintenance man must be at the plant at least 60 percent of the time. Officer Nino Madero may serve as a backup in plant management. Councilman Borrego questioned why no employees have passed the test and what support is available.
