Adler Company of Ft Collins and Cole Company propose installing a small broadcasting translator to boost signal on all three channels at about 12600 dollars with no user charges. Youths Narrowly Escape After Auto Crash West of Lordsburg
Two Hermosa Beach youths, Ga FP Robinson 18 and Ken th Cari 14, escaped serious injury when their 1951 Chrysler convertible rolled over twice 15 miles west of Lordsburg on Highway 70. Driver Gail, the grandfather, swerved to avoid a sign post. Robinson suffered a slight fracture and bruises, Carr was uninjured.

On December 21 two complete shows will be presented. The main feature is Overland Telegraph with a comedy and two cartoons. Pre school through fifth grade children attend the first show with a supervising adult, while fifth grade through high school pupils attend the late performance. Broom Sale Nets $326 for Band Uniform Fund
Thirty five band students aided by twelve band parents sold brooms for the New Mexico School for the Blind in Lordsburg. Total sales were $887 with profits of $326, benefiting the Band Parents' Club to help buy eight band uniforms. The Lions Club organized the annual sale.

The Lordsburg Squadron CAP sponsored a drive to recondition toys for Elks Club Christmas baskets. Cadets cleaned repaired and repainted items and will deliver them to the Elks Lodge.
