Public funds eyed to aid Hidalgo clinic finances

Hidalgo County commissioners chairman Lloyd Payne expressed optimism that Hidalgo Hospital will stay open and overcome its current financial problems. He spoke to about 25 Hidalgo Countians at an open meeting held Wednesday with the commission.

Hidalgo Hospital Trustees Approve Room Rate Increase

Hidalgo General Hospital trustees voted Tuesday to raise room rates effective Jan 1 1976. Semi private rooms will cost 48 dollars per day and private rooms 54 dollars, up from 43 and 48 dollars respectively.
