Train Collision In Dense Fog Near Lordsburg
In thick fog Tuesday morning near Lordsburg New Mexico Train 102 the Sunset Limited rear ended a freight east of Ulmer's wrecking the caboose and several cars. No passengers were seriously hurt though crew members were injured, and a board of inquiry blamed the Sunset Limited crew. Damages were estimated at $20,000.
