Burke Stiles announces the Dugan Tarango Middle School is ready for occupancy with moving set for Friday. Pupils stranded from cafeteria meals should bring sack lunches Monday. A new bus route starts December 6 with stops at the park Wilson School and possibly Circle H West Second Street pickup at 8:20 and 8:35 a.m. An open house will follow once settled.

Funeral Services Held For Maynard Woudsma
Funeral services for Maynard Woudsma were held in Heather Chapel on Tuesday November 30 1971 with Fred Ewing in charge. Graveside rites followed at Southlawn Memorial Park Tuc son with John Hardin officiating. Woudsma born December 22 1906 in the Netherlands died November 26 1971 in Hidalgo General Hospital. He and Blanche Forrs married December 2 1932. He served the Church of Christ in Lordsburg for 40 years and is survived by his wife two daughters two sons a granddaughter and many relatives in the U S and the Netherlands.
