Hidalgo accepts Road 338 in county system trade
Hidalgo County commissioners reached a tentative agreement with the State Highway Department to add Highway 338 south of Animas to the county road system in return for the state taking responsibility for Playas Road. Tony Sayers of the highway department initially proposed a 39.8 mile trade.
