City crews responded to a major water line break on Main Street reported around 2:00 a.m. Irene Galvan city clerk said the crew fixed the break by 8:00 a.m. and reopened the street around 10:00 a.m. after pavement repairs.

Sixto Mora 91 died April 28 1993 in Auburn Alabama and Elena Mora died April 25 in Auburn. A memorial mass was held August 12 at 10:00 AM at St Josephs Catholic Church officiated by Fr Sam Garcia. Interment followed at Shakespeare Cemetery. They were lifelong Catholics with son Emilio Mora daughter in law Barbara and granddaughter Mary Mora among 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
