Senate Votes For Benefit Extension
The Senate passed an amendment to the Budget Reconciliation Bill by 84 to 13 votes to extend federal unemployment benefits for 10 weeks for exhausted claimants. High School Registration To Begin Here
Lordsburg High School opens registration for the 1982 83 year. Students report to the cafetorium on August 18 at the designated time. Bus riders and those not at LHS last year may register between 9 and noon. Regular classes start Thursday August 19 with seniors at 9 00, juniors 10 00, sophomores 11 00, and freshmen 1 00.

The City plans an Industrial Development Committee and a zoning group after visits by Commerce and Industry Department staff and State Economic Development officials.
