Animas School Starts 1966 67 Term In August
Animas Public Schools plan for the 1966 67 term with registration on Friday August 26 and the first day of classes Monday August 29. Buses will run routes and reach Animas and Rodeo schools at 9 30 a m for registration. Improvements include a Curriculum Materials Center, gym additions, stage alterations, and two new teacherages. Lordsburg VFW post earned high honors at the New Mexico state convention in Clovis. Commander Arturo Saucedo named outstanding commander of the year and received a commander's hat and jacket.
