New Mexico West Mining Corp Takes Over Large Silver Lead Zinc Property
The New Mexico West Mining company, led by Wil A. Drennan and J. R. Ray, has acquired the Carbonate Hill silver lead zinc properties once held by the McGhee Brothers. A mill is being refurbished to process ore now shipping to El Peso, with engineers predicting 20,000 tons of high grade ore at the 150 foot level. The property, valued at over $1,000,000, is regarded as one of the west’s largest, and its new owners aim to develop a major regional mining industry.
