W Hay of Silver City Democratic candidate for district judge visited Lordsburg on Wednesday. He added his name to the candidate list in the Liberal office. Hay is a World War veteran and lawyer who started practice in Indiana in 1916 and moved to Grant County in 1923, later settling in Silver City in 194?. Sea Scout Paul A. Siple of Erie Pennsylvania, youngest in Byrd's Antarctic Paxpedition, received high commendation from Admiral Byrd for two years of service since leaving New York.
