Child Drowns In Sunset Virden Canal
Dewitt Brown two year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Brown drowned in the Sunset Canal at Virden on Wednesday afternoon. The body was found two miles downstream after rescue efforts failed. Funeral held Thursday at Latter Day Saints Church with many mourners, survived by grandparents Peter Mortensen and L N Brown plus other relatives.
