Local items note Mrs A C Witte and Esther visiting Cleveland, Mrs Axtell’s Chicago trip, and plans for a November 11 oyster supper by the YPSCE. An auction for Mr Jemilton’s household goods was postponed due to a mortgage. Local religious and civic notices mention vaccination orders, a temperance lecture, and a church event for charity.

Mr Allen Cheesman, long ill, is not expected to live. Miss Myrtle McNelly returns home from Elyria for a few sick days. At the parents’ home on Wednesday evening Miss Fannie Terrell and Mr Fred Gelder were married. ceremony by Rev J P Keidinger.

Mrs Caroline Knowlton dies of paralysis. funeral led by Steeves. Bert Nesbitt and classmates host a late carnival. William Mole reports a heavy mangling weight on Royce farm hogs.
Williams returns from five months in Cleveland. Maygar Street visits friends in Galton and Cortland avenues host gatherings. Mr and Mrs Eddy plan a Florida winter for health. Arthur Roser ill with heart disease at Delaware University. Town revels in Republican victory with a noisy jubilee. Opera house drama pleases locals. Oxy Hydrogen lighting lecture draws crowds at Congregational church. Exposition proceeds shared with Benevolent society.
