Leena Watkins born in Eaton Lorain County on November 1861 married Win Reynolds on May 1 1884. She died after illness from pneumonia and heart failure leaving a husband and children. Funeral held at North Eaton Disciple Church with Rev Pierce. Card of thanks from family extends gratitude for support and flowers.

Chas Pance of Decatur MI formerly here visited friends. W H Johnson was in Cleveland as a U S District Court juror. Wm Mason moved back to town from Nickle Plaza. Captain Fred Green left for Cleveland to command a boat this season. Mrs Cynthia Bradley and daughter Phebe visited the Johnsons over Sunday. A thief broke into Morris Plumb’s corn house Sunday night and stole several bags. Death of Mrs Will Reynolds mourned by community. The grammar school chicken pie supper Saturday was a success despite rain.
