Fifteen Charged in Lorain County Fentanyl Ring Bust
The Department of Justice says 15 arrests were made in an alleged drug trafficking network distributing counterfeit fentanyl pills in Lorain County and beyond. Lead suspects Ronald Whittaker and Tyver McCullum allegedly coordinated pill supplies and distribution to networks across Elyria and surrounding areas.

Car crashes into historic Amherst farmhouse on Route 113
Just before dawn a westbound car on Route 113 in Amherst Township crossed the center line and struck a three story farmhouse built in 1903 on the Baus Family farm. The crash toppled two pillars. The driver was charged with OVI.
