Amherst High cheerleaders win second straight state title
The Amherst High School cheerleading squads claim the Division II Game Day Non-Building state title for the second year running and place runner up in Division II Traditional Non-Building. The Game Day team goes undefeated in Ohio with six first place finishes and three Grand Champion titles, winning Grand Champion at the Ohio Athletic competition on January 12 over 37 teams. Black History Month celebration honors roots and future
