The Woman's Foreign Missionary Society of the New Brunswick District of the New Jersey Conference holds three sessions next Friday at First Methodist Episcopal Church Asbury Park with eighteen auxiliaries from Long Branch Sea Bright Ocean Grove and other towns. Officers and speakers include Mrs Carrie Nelson Clark Mrs Anna Robley Miss Jennie Kane Miss Elizabeth Dunham and Miss Elizabeth Strow among others. Luncheon served by the Asbury Park society.

Mr and Mrs James D Maps of Ocean Grove formerly of West Long Branch will spend the winter in New York. They leave the camp meeting resort for Gotham tomorrow. Mr Maps who has been in poor health has improved of late. He was for many years a blacksmith in West Long Branch.

Sharks Patrol Jersey Coast In Record Numbers Off Long Branch

Accidents at Atlantic Highlands Gas Company grounds
Two incidents occurred at the Atlantic Highlands Gas Company site. Iron worker Robert Williams fell from a scaffold about thirty five feet, suffering only a head cut and bruised shoulder. A laborer was struck by a hammer dropped from a building top but was not seriously harmed, continuing work.
