Railroad rumors say the Pennsylvania Railroad will open its tunnels to the Thirty-fourth Street terminal for the New York and Long Branch division on November 1. The first through train from Point Pleasant will run via the Hudson into midtown New York, with other trains split between the 34th Street terminal and the Jersey City tube and ferry connections. Some Long Branch division riders may transfer at Newark to a 34th Street service, as detours occur.

Autos in Collision at Asbury Park Ends with Damaged Car
An auto collision at the corner of Corlies avenue and South Main street Asbury Park occurred about 10 o clock Saturday morning. Henry Kislegar of Middletown—driving east on Corlies—collided broadside with John H. Crammer’s touring car from Orange. Kislegay’s speed and a turning error caused the crash. no injuries were reported. The Crammer car suffered the most damage and Kislegay agreed to pay, but Crammer refused and planned court action.
