District Court Hears All County Choes in Asbury Park
Judge Jacob Steinbach Jr. presided at City Hall as two cases were disposed by noon. The first involved Benjamin Ratner and Arthur Hobson with attorney Harry Truax seeking testimony from California witnesses. The court adjourned three weeks to secure the testimony. The second case, Eleanore Morris of Avon versus Harry Rockefeller of Asbury Park, tested whether the Monmouth county court would hear cases where residents live in the Asbury Park district. Judge Steinbach ruled he must hear all cases from residents of the county. Morris claims Rockefeller owes $115 for rent commissions. (Continued on Sixth Page.)

Witnesses from Patrolmen Vetter and Harvey testified to loose horses, while a driver for Bender admitted the pony broke loose. The horses were not owned by Bender.
