Steamboat Company Sued For Damages In New Jersey
Miss Engenia Mayerean of Asbury Park sued the New York and Long Branch Steamboat Company in Freehold court seeking 600 for four pictures alleged to be laid to the company during an April shipment from a New York storage house to Mrs. Dudley in Asbury Park. The consignment was received and handed to Little's Express, and the driver’s receipt released the steamboat line from further responsibility. The jury returned a verdict in favor of the plaintiff for 60.

Chattle sent a team to a Red Bank track and field meet last Saturday. The squad faced tough competition and several top athletes were barred by eligibility rules.
