Reckless Driver Causes Depot Wagon Collision Injuring Passenger
Harry Schwartz drove at high speed on Saturday night, causing a head on crash with a depot wagon driven by Samuel Music. Peter Moore, manager of the Commercial cafe, riding with Music, was thrown against a glass windshield, suffering back pain and shock. The horse ran free and was found near West Long Branch. Moore’s derby likely saved his face from serious injury.

Mag Green Dies After Long Illness
Mrs. Mary Jane Green wife of Captain George H Green died at 524 Bath Avenue after a three week illness. Born March 6 eighty one years ago in Eatontown she was the last surviving Wolcott child. She lived in Long Branch most of her life and attended the First Reformed Church. The funeral will be Wednesday after two at the house with Rev Charles F McKay of the First Baptist Church officiating burial at West Long Branch by Hyer and Flock directors.
