Liner Collision Off Nantucket Causes No Injuries
In fog, the Hamburg American liner Pretoria and the American liner New York collided about 175 miles off Nantucket. No one was injured and damage was slight as the Pretoria struck the New York a glancing blow. The New York resumed its voyage to this port while the Pretoria headed to Europe.

Heroic Beach Rescuer Saves Woman in Eight to Nine Foot Currents

Class Day Exercises of the 1914 Chatsleigh School
The 1914 graduating class held its exercises in the Intermedial auditorium before about seven hundred. The program featured the High School Orchestra, a class history in scroll form by Albert Hall Breese, the class prophecy by Miss Chestina Blodgett, and a cabinet gift to the school presented by Ashley Woolley.
