Train Collision Kills Six at Virginia Rail Grade Crossing

Auto and funeral coach collision injures driver
A funeral coach collided with a car driven by John G Breese in a cemetery at Eatontown. Driver Harry Jopkins was thrown out and dragged about 50 feet but escaped serious injury. Two horses pulled the coach, one struck the Strohmsanger monument and both animals were secured near the cemetery exits as occupants, including Mr Fay Mrs Annie C VanNote and Mr and Mrs Albert Worden, Jr, returned to Red Bank in a separate wagon.

Chauffeur's Fine Paid By His Employer
Carter Hageman a colored chauffeur arrested yesterday afternoon by Gycie Umer QuaupUL in Buc Lom dollars and costs this morning or 11.25 by Recorder Arrowsmith. The fine was paid by his employer. Aaron Leopold appeared before the recorder on a complaint by Simon Giner proprietor of the Atlantic Hotel charged with assault and battery. Commissioning testimony was given and Recorder Arrowsmith ordered the men to be in court tomorrow morning with witnesses. William C. Riley, a cigar salesman, staying at the Columbia Hotel, also appeared before the recorder.
