Otto Stauch Jr age 21 of Philadelphia drowned at Asbury Park after entering with his brother in law Irving Height. They went beyond lifelines in strong undertow and both struggled. Height, nearly exhausted, signaled for help but no one went to assist and the surf boat lacked oars.

Attacked by Bull Dog Injures Mrs Brown at Son’s Home
Mrs Brown of Madison avenue was bitten by a bull dog at her son Frank’s home on North Broadway Saturday evening. The dog leaped at her several times, causing wounds to both arms, with the right arm severely bitten. Dr Charles Gremer cauterized the lacerations and the dog showed no signs of rabies. The motive remains unexplained as the dog is normally friendly.

Three Accidents In A Year In Point Pleasant Boy
Oliver Van Camp son of Oliver B Van Camp grocer of Point Pleasant and nephew of Mrs Hughes of Long Branch has fallen from a wagon and broken his collarbone. This is his third serious accident in a year following a skating knee injury and a prior fall.
