Eye Injury Report From Seidenberg Hospital Visit
Theodore Seidenberg of New York who was in an accident Monday at Sea Bright lost an eye and sustained a broken finger and bruises. He is recovering at Monmouth Memorial Hospital with friend Slade visiting and Dr Reed treating his wounds. Seidenberg remains cheerful though saddened by the eye loss. Slade is forty and well known in Sea Bright summer rental circles. Empire Lodge No 174 I C C B P elected new officers for the term ending December 31 with noble grand Urim Bennett and vice grand Alpheus Borden. continuing officers include secretary Albert Barkley and treasurer A B Morris.

Horse from Rosario Carpone near ploughing through Daily Record front
A horse owned by Rosario Carpone of Asbury Park broke loose from a Venice Hotel wagon and crashed into the Daily Record front. The horse toppled a sign, tore the thermometer cabinet, and was treated at Layton's stable after being restrained by a Record employee. No major damage beyond scattered wreckage and injuries to the horse.

Dr. Edwin Field Snowbound in Andes While Abroad
Dr. Edwin Field of Red Bank, staff at Monmouth Memorial Hospital, has been traveling abroad since mid April and is snowbound in the Andes. He planned to join Mrs Meld at the Panama Canal before this, but delays occurred. Mrs Field left Red Bank June 14 for the canal, arriving six days later, and wrote June 16 that the doctor would not reach the canal until next Monday. The delay began as he crossed from Buenos Aires to the west coast.
