James Ray Minugh a Sea Bright pioneer died at his Home in Hiramson aged 82 after two years of failing health from heart trouble and Bright's disease Funeral services are set for Saturday at Sea Bright M E Church with Rev Dr J Ward Gambler officiating Burial will follow in Fair View cemetery Middletown He was born in Jersey City and settled in Sea Bright forty years ago in the fishing industry later ran a livery business He survived by a widow and seven children including five sons and a daughter from his first marriage plus descendants in several states He left an estate reputedly worth 600000 The piece notes his role as an original Fishermen's Church trustee and long time Sea Bright resident.
Florence May Truex daughter of Mr and Mrs John Truex of Point Pleasant underwent surgery for internal injuries at Monmouth Memorial Hospital after a fall from her bicycle three years ago. The fall was not initially seen as serious but complications followed and she is improving daily.

Charles Wheeler died after apoplexy struck him Tuesday morning soon after leaving home at 10:30. He had a long history of heart trouble and prior stroke. Born in West Freehold, he later lived in Long Branch and ran Wheeler trotting stock with mixed fortune. Funeral services set for Saturday at 2 PM at his home. interment at Geelong Green Lawn, under William H. Morris Jr. supervision.
An important meeting of the Monmouth County SPCA at City Hall was presided by Rev J G Lovell. Election was postponed due to low attendance. County agent Joseph McGarvey presented a report covering under four months with 88 total cases across horses dogs cats cows and chickens and several prosecutions and convictions. The society has 82 members and seeks new members. dues total $2 per year.

Ruth DeMaris Sculthorpe aged in her sixties died at her son John H. Sculthorpe’s Garfield avenue home after a sudden heart attack following dinner. She was born in Hamilton and survived by children Elliott, Clarence, Bazil, Vernon, and Elizabeth, plus three sisters and two brothers. Funeral service Sunday at 1 pm from Garfield avenue residence, with Hamilton M.E. Church and Hyer & Flock directing interment at Hamilton cemetery.
