Road Race Postponed To April Due To Road Conditions
The annual Colts Neck to Long Branch road race scheduled for tomorrow is postponed to the afternoon of April 1 due to bad road conditions. Entries stay open until March 21, originally closed February 21 with Henry A. Muhlenbrink. Last year’s interest grew and organizers expect about double the participants in 1910.

Plans were perfected for a district meeting of the I. O. O. F. in Long Branch on Saturday night March 12 with Grand Master Bivin English and staff present. Seven lodges from Long Branch Sea Bright Neptune Asbury Park Belmar and United of Belmar will be represented. District Deputy Grand Master George Masson of Oakhurst was elected chairman and John F. Knox of Asbury Park secretary. The gathering marks the sixty second anniversary of Arioch Lodge No 77 with reports from all lodges in the thirty ninth district and calls for hosting the next special session of the Grand Lodge in this region. The Past Grand’s Association will attend along with other officers including Grand Secretary Harry S Pine Grand Treasurer Joseph R Deacon Deputy Grand Master William T Robbins and a large representative contingent.
