Captain Henry H. Munro's ice yacht Princeton was nearly wrecked off Pleasure Bay in a gale. Wardell tried to control the vessel after slipping a runner but collided with Blanche and Clarel, causing repairs to both Wake Content yachts and forcing Princeton to be rebuilt. Coal Explosion At Stove Injures Mrs Van Tine

Miss Mamie Taylor of North Long Branch died during an appendicitis operation at Flower Hospital New York after being admitted at one. Percy L Phillips aged about 19 or 20 died at his Port-au-Peck home after a yearlong illness described as lung trouble. He was the son of Jos and May Phillips, born November 1890 in Halberton Square. A member of St Luke's M E Church and the Junior U A M, he held roles in Riverview and Crystal Wave councils and was among the youngest past officers.
