Car nearly through Oceanport bridge in Morris avenue run
Fred Flake chauffeur for Brent Good of Morris avenue drove a Pope-Hagtford car toward Oceanport yesterday afternoon when a heavy meat truck blocked the approach to the Oceanport bridge. Flake swerved and struck the bridge timbers, tearing out about forty feet of the footpath. He and Mr Good's dog escaped as the car suffered minor damage. Flake injured his back and leg but remained mobile. The car was later repaired by Lustbaum after 5.20 pm.
