Rescue on Ocean Shore By Patrolman Edwards

Patrolman Charles Edwards rescued Miss Phyllis Fretz and brought her to shore after cramps left her sinking in eighteen feet of water. An onlooker and a nearby swimmer aided until Edwards arrived after hearing cries. The incident occurred near Miss Fretz’s Ocean Avenue home while she swam in familiar waters.
