Carnival Parade Draws Firemen and Floats in Big Town Pageant

Big three day carnival opens at eight thirty tonight under Board of Trade auspices. Thirty fire companies and about a hundred floats are expected, with committees reporting progress on masquerade ball, automobile entries, and athletic events. Final preparations include prize cups, medals, and a London-like review stand near Ocean Avenue as floats assemble by Fay Street for a line of march to Bath and Broadway.

The State Board of Health seeks to curb impostors after two incidents in Ocean Grove Asbury Park and Springfield Union County. Fishhook in Finger Incident At South Broadway
