Highlands announces a three day water carnival from August 24 to 26 with a large motor boat parade along the Jersey coast. Events include boat races aquatic sports an illuminated parade with hundreds of boats prizes for best decorated boats and hotels and a land parade with merchant floats a professional amateur marathon and potential baby and aerial displays under carnival promoter L E Dare and secretary George W Hardy inviting entries.
