Red Bank Recorder Sentences Tramps to 90 Days in Jail

Red Bank Recorder James H Sickles ordered eleven transients jailed for 90 days each to curb panhandling and nuisance along the railroad tracks and at Red Bank. The same period was handed to Thomas Rogan after a drinking disorderly incident. The town reports improvements at Monmouth Memorial Hospital and notices several local race and business events.

Triple Funeral for Parker Goade Family Victims in Red Bank

In Red Bank the triple funeral services were held for Parker Goade's children from Red Street. Rev J W Hamlin led the rites at Red A M B Zion Church with relatives in attendance. The three white hearses carried the youths to the cemetery as mourners recalled their untimely deaths in the house fire. Neda aged 3, adopted child, died Wednesday morning and James the eldest died twenty four hours later.
