The AFL Government Employes Union rejects AFL action backing Adlai Stevenson. National president James A. Campbell states the union is nonpolitical and will let members vote their choice. He emphasized members remain free to support any presidential candidate.

The British air Ministry said today nine crew members were rescued from a bomber that crashed on September 16 on a Greenland ice cap. The operation recovered the last members of the stranded crew.
