State Unit Recesses Hearing on Collusion
The State Public Works Department began an investigation into charges of collusion with contractors and misappropriation of materials and money. Foreman Alton Cummings and his attorney sought a continuance to review records and refresh his memoirs as the department recessed the hearing until May 27. The Civitan California District Convention will be held in San Francisco with attendees from Long Beach.
