Meetings of Long Beach Townsendites clubs are listed. Club 7 meets in Townsend Hall at 7 30 p m Tuesday. Club 12 hosts a card party at 12 30 p m in the hall. Club 12 also gathers Wednesday at 1 and 2 at the hall, 7 20 p m. Club 9 meets at 5363 Olive Ave at 7 30 p m Thursday. Bellflower club meets 1 p m Friday at 2029 FE Broadway for a card party. Club 10 holds a dinner at 6 p m. Capt Willis W Bradley will speak at 7 30 p m Saturday.

Hong Kong reports concern for American missionaries Bishop Francis Ford of Brooklyn and Sister Jean Marie Ryan of New York City who vanished after Red China detention. Arrested December 23, 1950, in Meihsien then last heard April 14, 1951. Also notes Bishop Alexander Carlo died in Kweiyang during an expulsion journey, blamed on mistreatment.
