Assessor Warns of Major County Property Tax Increases
County Assessor John R. Quinn says about 250,000 property owners will see sizable rises in assessed values this year as market values climb. He notes some San Fernando Valley areas may rise up to 50 percent, with protests from North Hollywood owners unlikely to recur broadly.
