Writers to Editors Sympathetic to Margaret's Wedding Plans
British letters to the Daily Mirror reveal sympathy for Princess Margaret's rumored marriage to divorced commoner Peter Townsend. Readers praise disclosure of plans and cite personal experiences with divorce, while Margaret rests from royal duties before attending St Philip's consecration. Townsend, in Brussels, avoids commenting on marriage rumors and notes duties and training a horse.
