Deaf blind couple keep infant at home in Akron

Wild Flight on Turnpike Ends in Fatal Crash
Palma Lancaster youth Kenneth Shelly, 27, of Lititz Pa, drove 42 miles the wrong way on the Pennsylvania Turnpike at up to 100 mph. He crashed into a road block trailer, died two hours later. A 40 minute chase had state police in pursuit in east and westbound lanes with patrol cars using spotlights. Shelly had recent mental hospital records and was unmarried.
