Seoul March 5 AP American warplanes surprised a flight of Communist MIG-15 jets near the Yalu River and shot down five. Another MIG was probably destroyed. The 30 minute dawn battle began when 28 Sabre jets bombed 70 MIGs as Reds emerged from Manchuria. One MIG crashed behind the border without a shot fired.

Two Women Die in Montreal Theater Fire
A three alarm blaze gutted a building housing the Montreal Repertory theater in the early morning. Firemen found Mrs. George Ferkins at the bottom of stairs leading to apartments above the theater and an unidentified woman in the rubble.
