Hearings edge toward Chotiner probe in Rome Florida
Investigators said today they would hold further hearings on the affairs of Murray M. Chotiner as the Senate subcommittee continues its probe. A 43-year-old woman jumped from a third floor window, was injured, and gave birth 20 minutes later at North Broward General Hospital. The baby, a 10-pound boy, was reported in fine condition. Chotiner, a Beverly Hills lawyer, was Nixon’s 1952 campaign manager and has ties to prior campaigns. Kennedy and Bellino subpoenaed his financial records and documents from some clients amid the probe into his government connections.
