Rainmaking Success Told in Socorro New Mexico
Rain makers claim credit for a 1.04 inch fall in Socorro as delegates at a rain making conference hear that clouds were seeded with silver iodide. Dr E J Workman of the New Mexico School of Mines says a seeded cloud produced the brief drizzle lasting about an hour. Nobel laureate Irving Langmuir, conducting tests, supports cloud seeding as the cause.
