Dozen Rescued as Blast Sinks Boat Off Catalina
A 32 foot sport fishing boat Star Dust exploded and sank off Catalina Island injuring its master and three of eleven passengers. Coast Guard rescue planes airlifted the wounded to San Pedro for emergency care after nearby boats rescued the party. Passenger Boat Freighter Collision Near Nanaimo Harbor
