Million Dollar Profit Reported in Military Housing Case
Senate investigators heard four Ohio military housing project builders earned nearly a million dollars from the Wherry Act program at Wright Patterson Field. The Page Manor Management Corp. sponsors claim profits came from FHA insured loans versus construction costs, with two corporations used to route funds. Company stockholders reportedly shared ownership across both entities, enabling profits while certifying mortgage needs.
