Death penalty sought in two Chicago area murders
A Chicago jury recommended death for Vin cent Ciucci for killing his wife and three children to marry another woman, with a pending murder count for a second daughter. Ciucci, 29, already sentenced to nine years for the wife and one child murders, faces a January hearing on a new trial motion. In New Jersey, Eugene Monahan, 4th year old, was executed for a tavern robbery and slayings, after his father’s trial revealed the boy helped plan the crime. Monahan’s son Michael, 15, remains in state reform school.
