Martian Bandit Suspect Held In Los Angeles Holdups
Sheriff deputies held 20 year old Joseph F. Samson on suspicion of being the man from Mars who carried out three holdups using disguises seen on television. At Samson's home deputies recovered six guns gas masks clothes and gear believed used in the crimes. He allegedly admitted slugging and disarming four watchmen in a $1500 Tec Market holdup and taking $433 from a West Los Angeles market on Nov 16 and $45 from an Inglewood drive in theater on Nov 5.
