Fire Kills Visitor in San Pedro
A fire at 980 Battery St San Pedro destroyed a small dwelling last night and burned Eddie Bunn about 52 to death. Fred Jackson, the occupant, said Bunn was a friend whose address was unknown. Jackson found Bunn in a bunk after returning to the rear of the house as smoke appeared. Detectives say Bunn apparently fell asleep while smoking.
